This Shift Kit corrects, prevents, and fixes the following complaints:

The Allison LCT-1000 6 speed transmission was found in the heavier GM, Chevy, and GMC truck models from late 2005-up with the 6.6L Duramax diesel or the 8.1L gas engine. These transmissions are also found in the larger Isuzu trucks with the 7.8L Diesel.  The T-1000 Allison was in the 8.1L GM trucks as an option.  The Allison can be identified by its external fluid filter.
