The Allison LCT-1000 5 speed transmission was found in the heavier GM, Chevy, and GMC truck models from 2001-2004 with the 6.6L Duramax diesel or the 8.1L gas engine. The T-1000 Allison was in the 8.1L GM trucks as an option.  The Allison can be identified by its external fluid filter.
