The input clutch hub bushing is an oil control surface for the underdrive clutch. Excessive clearance between this bushing and the stator support will cause low underdrive clutch pressure, resulting in premature clutch failure. The Sonnax input hub bushing will restore the clearance necessary for proper operation. With a smaller clearance than other aftermarket bushings, it will significantly reduce oil lube loss. It is no longer necessary to replace the hub if the bushing is worn. The new Sonnax bushing tool kit part number 92003-TL will make the bushing replacement easy and inexpensive.
