Sonnax now offers a replacement 2-3 shift valve 84754-36K, 3-2 downshift valve 84754-37K, 3-4 shift valve 84754-38K and 4-3 manual downshift valve 84754-39K for 4T60-E units. The 3-2 manual downshift valve 84754-37K fits all 4T60-E units. The 2-3 shift valve 84754-36K fits 1994 & on '91-'93 valve bodies has a smaller spool (see illustration on next page). The OEM valves are made of raw aluminum and are subject to wear and side loading. The Sonnax valves use a hard-anodized finish to reduce wear and reduce friction. The Sonnax valves incorporate annular grooves to center the valves and reduce sticking caused by side loading.
