As the bore wears, the accumulator pressure control valve will either remain inward, due to loss of balance oil, or stick outward. Inward position allows for full line to accumulator pressure and results in firm shifts. If the valve sticks outward toward the modulator sleeve and spring, accumulator pressure is low, resulting in soft, slide shifts. The oversized Sonnax line pressure modulator valves for the E4OD and 4R100, 36948-19, allows the worn valve body bore to be refurbished and restores accumulator pressure control. Features & Benefits: Valve is manufactured from hard-anodized aluminum to resist wear. The spring seat has been lengthened slightly to account for the oversized valve spools. Reamer tool kit 36948-TL works for both the E4OD/4R100 and the AX4N.
