Easy to install!
Great kit! Just remember if you get the thermal-bypass you will need extra hose clamps. It took me 1 HR to install. Installed on a 2012 Chevy 1500. No extra parts other than the clamps for the bypass.

2011 Durango option 2
I had a quote to replace my leaking transmission cooler of $1K. The AC condenser and trans cooler are all one unit. I decided to give this a try because the cooler size was very close to the original. Installed and tested. So far it maintains the original temperature 170-176 but it doesn't leak like the old one. Thanks!

Tru-Cool Max 30,000 - LPD49211
Installed on a 2014 Sierra V6. I live in AL, so I installed on return side (upper radiator connection). Also purchased a Hayden 397 adapter, so original lines are not molested. Was seeing transmission temps over 200, now max temp has been around 150.

Well designed. Well built ...
After looking at most of the coolers on the marker, I bought this TC 30,000 for my older beefed Silverado that I use to tow 26’ boat in summer and snow machines in winter...through mountains...here in Alaska. The assembly and finish is superb. The mounting tabs locations on the cooler makes installation very simple. I used aluminum angle across the bottom and top to attach to the original A-frame hood latch brace. Because of our winters, I plumbed it in the return line after the stock radiator cooler (cutting the steel tube and using 3/8 compression x 3/8 male...attached to 3/8 female with barb from Lowes and the rubber tube supplied in the installation kit). Towed the boat 250 miles thru the mountains this week... engine temp stayed at 195 and transmission stayed at 160. Good unit !!!

Made my Sequoia able to tow
I wasn't able to tow even a small camper with my non-towing package 2008 Toyota Sequoia. Even regular driving around town, not towing, it was reaching 230F+ (this year has only a warmer, no built in cooler at all). It now holds at 180F-190F while towing (previously it overheated, had to pull over). I wouldn't have a tow vehicle without this cooler and the Toyota adapter I needed to plumb it in.

With a Sonnex kit to adapt it to the banjo bolts on the transmission in my 2004 Winnebago Rialta (built on 2003 VW EuroVan chassis), this cooler dropped fluid temps by 80F here in 107F Phoenix. Thin profile allowed easy mounting between the AC condenser and the grill. This think extracts a lot of heat but did not elevate radiator temperatures as it replaced the coolant based transmission cooler provided by VW that was inadequate after the added weight of the Winnebago RV converion. Winnebago should have added this cooler during the conversion.

Perfect size cooler
Ordered this cooler for my 2006 Silverado instead of the normal TruCool 40k that everyone uses. This cooler is exactly twice the capacity of the stock GM tow package cooler. Side inlet fitting make plumbing simple and reduces the amount of rubber hose needed.

Chrysler/Dodge minivan leak fixed
This cooler fixed my leaking OEM condenser/transmission cooler without having to remove A/C lines. I used the included hardware (only needed hose clamps) to attach to transmission lines without any modifications (I did need to buy some tranny cooler zip ties for mounting).
