Ok this book does not cover 2006 and up transmission ,as far as I can tell it only goes up to 2004 but which most 604's are pretty much the same ,except 2006 switched to the pcm/tcm all in one computer it's not shown in the manual , not wiring to boot ! I see on the site there is another book which is call an update that I'm probably going to have to buy also ! all in all the book is good for up to 2004 !
Thank you for your order and review. The blue ATSG book is the rebuild book needed for all years. The update-supplement book covers only very specific changes and updates to the transmission that occurred during the lifecycle of the unit. The exploded views and rebuild procedures are only contained within the blue rebuild book. As an example, here are a few of the topics from the table of contents for the update: TRANSAXLE CONTROLLERS, NEW 4 DISC OVERDRIVE CLUTCH PACK, NEW COOLER BY-PASS VALVE ASSEMBLY, VALVE BODY CHANGES, NEW DESIGN FINAL DRIVE CROSS SHAFT RETAINERS….
